Members of the Ultra 6 Challenge on Ilkley moor with Afghanistan veteran Andy Reid

IT WAS the nemesis of the famous RAF Spitfire during the Battle of Britain.A Messerschmitt Me109 has  made its way to East Yorkshire on the back of a lorry from the south coast transported by the Potter Group.

The Messerschmitt Bf 109 single-seat interceptor fighter was first flown in September 1935 and saw action in the Spanish Civil War with Jumo 210 engines. The Daimler-Benz DB 605 12-cylinder inverted V engine was introduced with the Bf 109G in 1942. The Bf 109G served on all fronts from 1942 to 1945. More than 33,000 Bf 109 were built between 1937 and 1945.

Commissioned to photograph the Tweed Lounge’s collection of a stylish new soft furnishings range to be launched in time for the Autumn and Winter 2012/13 season. Shooting in studio and on location at Almscliff Crag.

Designed and hand-crafted in Yorkshire from locally woven wools, Tweed Lounge is the brain child of clothing buyer turned interior designer, Sally Green from Rawdon, Leeds. After a career spent sourcing clothing fabrics, often in India and China, Sally saw the potential for an interiors range that utilised fabrics much closer to home.

Corporate headshots, portraits, group shots, events for business PR and Marketing photography, all in a days work.

A press /PR shoot for Cicada Communications the Harrogate-based agency has been chosen to support the York, North Yorkshire & East Riding Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) in its PR and marketing activities.  The effects were added in post production in Photogshop CS5.

The newly formed LEP, which covers an area from Skipton to Scarborough and Northallerton to Selby, will provide business support across the region following the demise of Business Link. Cicada will support the communications team as the LEP builds its profile in the region and helps to strengthen its links with business organisations.

incommunities Apprentices

A group photograph of incommunities Apprentices  (incommunities provide affordable, high quality homes, principally for rent in neighbourhoods across the Bradford District).  Apprenticeships are relevant to local councils as employers and providers of services for 14 to 19-year-olds. They are also a means of improving skills within the community. Apprenticeships are primarily aimed at people aged between 16 and 24, but are also open to those in the workforce aged 25 and over.

A PR photograph taken in archives of Nestles, formerly Rowntree’s was a confectionery business based in York.  It is now a historic brand owned by Nestlé, used to market a range of fruit gums and pastilles. Formerly owned by Rowntree’s. Following a merger with John Mackintosh & Co. The Company became known as Rowntree Mackintosh, was listed on the London Stock Exchange, and was once a constituent of the FTSE 100 Index.

It was acquired by Nestlé in 1988.
